 Holidaymakers booking cheap flights to Orlando this year or next may well find that the city is one of the more cost-effective they have visited in recent times.
According to popular US travel site Hotwire.com's Worldwide Travel Savings Indicator for September 2011, average savings of 50 per cent can be made in Orlando - which came top of all the cities in the world for conserving a bit of cash.
It beat the likes of Zurich, Las Vegas, Stockholm, Brussels, Toronto, Miami, Paris, Berlin and Barcelona to the top spot.
Anyone wanting to book cheap flights to Orlando will no doubt be pleased to hear they can continue to make savings once they touchdown in the city and begin their holiday.
Single parents may be particularly taken with this destination after learning of the opportunities for saving.
Chrissie Lewandowski of SingleWithKids.co.uk recently said families can save more cash by booking trips well in advance, giving them time to budget and letting them take advantage of the best rates.
