If you head to this beach early as seven and you could be seeing giant tails and fins as they playfully explore the Sri Lankan sea. February to March is the best time to visit this beach as this is when they are more likely to be seen, you might also spot a rare humpback dolphin!
Arugam Bay Beach
Surfers from all over the world come to Arugam Bay Beach because of its famous surfing points. April to October is the best time to come here and ride some waves and you can experience waves to a height of five to ten metres. It’s paradise for experienced surfers and with a lovely coastal neighbourhood nearby; it’s an excellent stop for travellers.
