Music lovers getting onboard cheap flights to Toronto from UK airports may be interested in a new exhibition set to open at the city's Royal Ontario Museum next month.
From October 9th, the Frederic Chopin & the Romantic Piano exhibition will offer visitors an insight into the life and legacy of the 19th century composer.
Commemorating the bicentennial of the Polish musician's birth, the exhibition at the Toronto museum will allow people to see a variety of instruments, including Chopin's favoured Pleyel Grand Piano, and musical scores.
There will also be the opportunity to view clothing and decorative arts from the Romantic period of music.
Held in the museum's Samuel European Galleries located on the first floor, the exhibition runs until March 27th.
As well as temporary exhibits, the Royal Ontario Museum also contains a variety of permanent collections with the Matthews Family Court of Chinese Sculpture showcasing Buddhist statues and the Daphne Cockwell Gallery of Canada exploring the lives of native Canadians.
