Passengers who have been planning a trip to America in a bid to catch some sun this half-term may welcome a series of tips offered by British Airways to those who may struggle travelling with children and heavy bags.
The airline, which is expecting more than 900,000 customers this week alone, has created a series of light-hearted videos to help individuals carry out their journeys with ease at a time that could prove stressful for them.
Videos featuring advice on how best to travel with small children, remaining comfortable when being transported between different climates and methods for remembering passports and other essentials have been posted to the carrier's dedicated YouTube site.
Abigail Comber, head of brands and marketing at British Airways, said: "With thousands of our worldwide team travelling around the globe and 30 million customers flying with British Airways a year, the airline is a font of top tips to make travel easy and the video is a nice way for us to pass that on."
According to the airline, the most popular day for embarking upon a getaway was last Friday (February 10th), when 95,000 individuals set off on flights around the globe before 85,000 travel back home the following week.
Popular destinations include New York, Rome, Barcelona, Dubai, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Orlando, Hong Kong, Paris and Prague.
Last week, British Airways gave one lucky customer the chance to enjoy a romantic meal onboard its flagship Concorde G-BOAC with their significant other at Manchester Airport's Runway Visitor Park on the special day.
Entrants were invited to take part in a charity auction - where the highest bid received the exclusive prize - for the chance to receive red carpet treatment from the steps of the famous aircraft to a table for two in the main cabin.
